“The ability to identify, decodes, and understands numbers and words joined together sets humans apart from animals, and the person who masters it has discovered the weaponry to conquer the world around him.” AngelDee

Call me AngelDee.

I live in the heart of children’s education. Reading excites me, so I love books. My world is ruled by two things: books and pens, and these are what I share with children on a daily basis.

To me a book stands for “Best Opportunity of Kings,” hence those who embrace it wholeheartedly becomes leaders and rulers of their destinies. These people are kings and queens in their own rights.

Again, to me a pen stands for “Pure Enlightenment Network,” hence those who embrace the pen as their walking sticks are illuminated. To achieve success in life, one must network with enlightened people. Those who hold the pen know this to be 100% true.

One of my aims in life is to share opportunities with children in deprived communities, especially with focus on their education. In order to achieve this, I liaise with local and foreign partners. Once again, I have to thank Mary Smith and Darien Book Aid for bringing smiles to my children. We received a parcel of donated books from Darien Book Aid on Friday 17th May, 2019. The contact details of Darien Book Aid were provided to us by Mary Smith.

We are most grateful for this love!

There is an open secret to education. This secret is the core of education and the weapon of all great leaders. This secret is reading, and it’s the ability to identify, decode, and understand numbers and words joined together. Study the lives of Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Barrack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Warren Buffet to name a few, and you will discover that they are products of reading.

I believe the provision of reading infrastructure is the first step towards quality education. In my community, reading is a huge problem. We cannot give quality education without making reading our topmost priority. For me, reading is the core of quality education and The Pen World will always support it.

I can’t conclude without sharing what other great scholars think of reading. Kindly take a trip with me:

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more you learn, the more places you’ll go.” Dr. Suess

“Today a reader, tomorrow a leader.” Margaret Fuller

“No. I can survive well enough on my own-If given the proper reading material.” Sarah J. Maas

I’m a product of reading.  It has inspired my imagination, helps my concentration, improves my memory, and enhances my communication. To top it up, it gives me the power to attract resources. Why watch television when I can entertain myself with a book?

Thanks once again to Mary Smith and Darien Book Aid for their invaluable contributions towards children’s education in developing communities across the globe. To support the work of Darien Book Aid, click here.
