Our Values:

The Pen World is guided by the following six values:

Ambition:

Maya Angelou once said “The desire to reach for the stars is ambitious. The desire to reach hearts is wise.” As an organization, we aspire for bigger things that would transform the children we serve emotionally, spiritually, physically and economically.

Communal Spirit:

We instill into our youths the spirit of communalism. Here, we encourage them to participate in any community project without expecting any monetary rewards. We know this is one of the ways they can learn more about themselves and to help develop their communities faster.

Curiosity:

Curiosity is the currency for knowledge acquisition. Curiosity leads to information, and information leads to knowledge. Therefore, we encourage our youths to find out more about themselves, their environment and others by reading more and asking more questions.

Diligent:

We instill the spirit of diligence in our children. Hard work does not kill; rather it leads to the fulfillment of one’s dreams. A bigger dream with lazy attitude is just a chimera. As an organization, we encourage teamwork and reward hard work.

Generosity:

Generosity is part of our organizational culture and the greatest weapon of successful people. For this reason, we encourage our youths to share the little they have with others. Anything that could help another person out of a difficult situation is encouraged.

Dualism:

Dualism is central to our working relationship with our target audience. We believe the foundation of nature’s growth and survival is orchestrated on the principle of dualism where every element has two aspects; yin and yang. In the logical essence of this value, we do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of gender, race, religion, etc. but embrace everyone for the ultimate development of society.
